October 19th-23rd, students and staff are encouraged to dress up for $1.00 to support United Way and HHS Homecoming Spirit Week. Here are the following themes for each day: 
Monday-$1-Tacky Day
Tuesday-$1-Crazy Sock Day
Wednesday-$1-Superhero Day
Thursday-$1-Tip Your Hat Day
   Friday-$1-Tigers Day(wear purple and gold)

Rowan Strings Perform at Central Office

Gladys Torres and the Rowan Elementary Strings students performed for the staff at Central Office on Feb. 22. The students took the audience on a musical journey around the world. Mr. Bacchus was so impressed that he asked the students to perform again that same night at a forum he hosted at HHS! 






Body Walk Comes to Rowan

On behalf of the faculty, students, and staff at Rowan Elementary,  a warm and loving welcome goes out to the mighty men of the district for assembly and packing of the Body Walk Display!  They came in, worked fast and carefully, and made a huge impact!  We wouldn't dare miss the opportunity to thank them for their hard work and let them know that they are greatly appreciated! -

Rowan 150 Club

The exclusive "150" Club is designed for students who score Proficient or Advanced on the MCT2! 
Students earn either Platinum status (proficiency in two areas) or Gold status (proficiency in one area)!  Each year the number of students continues to grow!  Way to go "150" Club Members!
